She

I see her standing there,
extremely still.
In her eyes there’s a blank stare,
one that could give you a chill.

She sets up her paint,
with slow precision.
And even if she is faint,
she won’t change her decision.

Looking at her display,
her eyes filled with concentration,
you could never make her sway,
even if you shouted salutations.

Her eyes on the scenery,
are filled with a far away look.
They gleam to see such greenery,
growing by the brook.

And while she’s been paintin’,
Beauty surrounds her everywhere.
She seems to blend in,
with her beautiful, long, blond hair.

You would never have guessed,
of what she has painted.
Only if she confessed,
would you then be aquainted.

Walking up behind her,
I see just shades of gray.
I’m suprised to discover,
that she paints not of the display.

What she’s painting still,
is what she’s been feeling.
Her loneliness contrasted with tranquil,
is shocking as well as saddening.

The mystery of it all,
is how she can appear to be,
so content with an invisible wall,
surrounding her but excluding me.

OH BOY!!!

I dunno if this working thing is for me! I am so used to layin on my ass all day long! I have just finished 9 days worth of working and i have had 4 headaches since i started workin.... i dunno if i can keep this up much longer!!!!!! AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

i am just kidding..... i do not like it and i have gotten a lotta headaches but i like having something to do in the day while rob is at work and i do enjoy the interaction with other people... i just wish i had a 9-5 office job..... with higher pay and holidays off. oh well, dream on huh! i will and who knows? if and when i get it, i might not want that anymore.... you know, people must think i am crazy and spoilt if they read this........ i am just venting for all the working people out there!!!!!!!!!!! Join me won't you? How nice would it be if you could just work when you wanted to and do what you loved and get paid really well for doing or not doing both.... that is my definition of UTOPIA :)

Wonders Of Earth

Oh i forgot. today was my first day at work. it felt so weird to go to work again and it also felt good to do something other than bej-out.... i dunno if i will like the job or not but i will definitely stick wit it to find out :)

Addicted to Weddings

So I have just gotten married and I realized that while I was planning my wedding, i had gotten so used to buying wedding magazines, searching for cheaper things online for my wedding, and lookin at wedding websites, that i find myself lost without it all. so much so that i have considered becoming a wedding planner to continue my fanatic obsession with weddings and all of its beauty and fairytale like existance.

End of Vegging out

A word from Pretty Woman.

To engage in relaxing or passive activities. Often used with out.

I usually pronouce it as bej-out....

In my terms, it is to lay on couch while watching tv until neck hurts, when neck hurts, then switch laying position and then keep changing until hunger approaches, then go to refrige to see if anything to eat. If nothing, then repeat above. If there is something, grab it, head to couch and eat while trying to repeat above without ruining couch..... Oh and if someone calls, try to grab phone without moving laying position (maybe with toes), because if movement occurs, comfort level might decrease and if that happens, the whole process has to be repeated and it might take too much energy and then it would not be bej-out fest....

That is wat i have been doin for a while now and tomorrow i start work...... stress level bound to go up way beyond my natural state! dunno if body can handle it....

jokes aside, i hope i like my job coz i did like workin when i did it oh about 6 years ago..... i know... i know.... i am so lucky to have the opportunity to go to school while not workin and now that i have to work, i should feel lucky that i found a job... but i think i would like it a lot better if i had a passion for it. trouble is, i dunno what passion feels like when it comes to wat i want to do with my life. i dunno wat i really want to do so i just bej. simple solution to great big problem. maybe one of these days, i will find a job i am passionate abt, then, maybe i will feel like i have a purpose.....

Unfortunate Events

I made dinner for meself and rob made dinner for himself and it did not turn out too well for him. The prata we bought did not turn out well at all and he was very very sad... i feel so bad for him. he tried to salvage dinner by going out to buy some bread for his meatballs but the bread cooked too long in the oven... it was not good... so now he is full but only coz he ate food that was not very good. i hope he gets a good dessert!

Breaskfast at Tiffany's (Hardly)

Went to breakfast at the 79th st cafe and ate a buttload of food. Belgian waffles are the best thing there by the way. Crispy on the outside, thick luscious spongy insides... mmmmm.... The Sausages there are awesome!!!!!! Dunno wats in it, dont care. Rob and I are goin to a parade in Chinatown.

I think its funny that I hated parades livin in Spore but being here, makes me want to experience it to make me feel closer to home. I miss Spore a lot. The food, the atmosphere, my friend and family. Hahah I say friend becoz of all my friends is Spore that stayed in touch with me is Lois. The idiot head, kuku head, chao chee byeeeeee.....

We are goin to look for roti prata also so i can make rendang and eat prata and feel like i'm back at casuarina rd off of thomson rd again... the best roti prata in the world!!!!!
